EXPANSION OF PRIVATE SCHOOL
Vavoulas Group undertook the construction of a new two-storey building with a basement that will house classrooms and is an extension of the existing facilities of Theodoropoulos Private Schools. The facilities are located on a plot of land of 16 acres, in Korakies, Akrotiri Municipality, at the 5th kilometer of the Chania - Airport national road.
Theodoropoulos Schools have a long history and tradition in Crete, starting in 1965.
The activities of the schools are spread over 7 buildings with a surface area of 3,000 sq.m. with provision for 11 total buildings of 4,800 sq.m., with bioclimatic architecture of increased seismic resistance and with respect to the successive stages of child development. Facilities, apart from classrooms and laboratories, include a reading room, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor courts, heated swimming pools, restaurant and canteen.
